QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who allegedly went on a robbery spree throughout northern Queens.

Police say that a total of 18 robberies were committed between March 22 and April 14 by the man, primarily in the Flushing area of Queens. Additional robberies occurred in Corona, Woodside and East Elmhurst as well.

According to police, in most of the incidents, the suspect approached a person and stole a purse, wallet, bag or jewelry at knifepoint. A total of $2,660 in cash was taken. The suspect also allegedly stole a cellphone and tools from a 43-year-old man, police say. One victim was hospitalized with injuries.
