SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) – Worth County junior Brooklyn Youngblood scored her 100th career goal Tuesday night against Lanier County.
Youngblood entered the game with 98 career goals. She scored her 99th early in the match and added her 100th minutes later. She finished with a hat trick in Worth County’s 4-1 win over the Bulldogs.
“It was kind of frustrating throughout the game because I just had so much pressure knowing I was probably going to score my 100th goal that game so I felt really relieved once I scored it,” Youngblood said.
Youngblood scored another hat trick against Dodge County later in the week, bringing her career total to 104 goals.
The junior said she hopes to reach 150 goals in her final season but would take a 2027 region title over a personal milestone any day.
