Double-check those Powerball tickets this morning; you could be a millionaire. The New York State Lottery announced that there was one 2nd-place winning Powerball ticket sold in New York State from Saturday’s Powerball drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There was one 2nd place winning Powerball ticket sold in New York State. That ticket matched all five numbers but just missed winning the grand prize jackpot by missing the Powerball number. That won $1 million dollars and was sold at Unique News, located at 2218 Broadway in New York City.

There were also 16 4th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 14 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other two tickets had the Powerplay, which increased the winning prize amount by 5 times to $500.

On top of those winning tickets, there were also 64 5th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 58 of those tickets won $100, while the other 6 tickets had the Powerplay and won $500 each.

Here were the winning Powerball numbers from last night’s drawing: 24-25-39-46-61 with a Powerball number of 01.

Did Anyone Win Last Night’s Powerball Drawing?

There was no grand prize-winning ticket sold from last night’s Powerball drawing. That means that the jackpot for the next drawing will be $87 million dollars.

The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night. Tickets are $2 each or $3 for a ticket with the Powerplay.
