WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Friday night a bicyclist and vehicle collided injuring the bicyclist who was expected to be flown out to Syracuse.
It happened around 7pm on State Street near the intersection with Wyoming Avenue. That section of the city was closed off with yellow police tape strung around.
Police confirm the bicycle in our photo is the bike that was involved and was moved to rest against a tree by a witness. Police say it’s not an electric bike.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who they say didn’t stick around after the crash.
