BROOKLYN, Wis. (WMTV) – One person is dead following a UTV crash Saturday in the Town of Brooklyn, the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced.
The Green Lake County 911 Communications Center received a call at 5:05 p.m. about a UTV crash on Princeton Road near Honeysuckle Lane.
The sheriff’s office stated that a UTV had crashed while carrying four people.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Princeton Road when the driver couldn’t make the curve and crashed.
None of the passengers were wearing seatbelts, and one person was thrown from the vehicle, the sheriff’s office explained.
The sheriff’s office states that despite life-saving efforts, the person who was ejected died.
The person who died was identified as Nicole Deaver, 40, of Fairwater. The three other passengers had injuries.
The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies, Green Lake-Brooklyn First Responders, Berlin EMS units from Green Lake, Berlin and Princeton and the Green Lake-Brooklyn Fire Department responded to the scene.
The Green Lake County Medical Examiner was also requested.
