Palace drops unseen images of Queen Elizabeth II on 100th birthday
Buckingham Palace has shared unseen snaps of Queen Elizabeth II as the royal family is commemorating the late monarch’s 100th birthday.
Today, April 21, marks the late queen’s centenary, and the grand celebration of the life of her majesty has begun in England.
The official Instagram page of the royal family uploaded some never seen before snaps of the late monarch from days before her passing to her childhood.

The image on the first slide featured the late queen beaming smiles while donning a lilac dress.
The second slide showed Elizabeth in a full length dress, and wearing her crown. This snap was apparently taken after she took over the throne of Great Britain.
While in the third picture, the young queen, seemingly from her teenage days, leaned on a table while posing for the snap.
The last slide featured a black and white image of the queen when she was a toddler.

The caption under the carousel read, “Remembering Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 1926 – 2022.”
As the celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday kicked off earlier this week, King Charles also paid a tribute in memory of his “darling Mama.”
The king shared a video montage of the queen on social media and wrote, “God bless you, darling Mama; you remain forever in our hearts and prayers.”
”A special tribute from His Majesty The King on what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday,” the post read.
