DUMBO — A PARADE, A PARTY and a pet costume contest are just some of this year’s Halloween Day events in DUMBO.

The festive “March to the Arch,” led by a brass band and puppets, kicks off at 4 p.m. along car-free Washington Street. This is followed by the DUMBO Archway Party from  4:30 – 7 p.m., with crafts with Creatively Wild Art Studio, a spooktacular photobooth, live music, drinks for sale at The Archway Bar and lots of candy. Plus, prizes for the best human costumes.

The Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest for pets begins at 6 p.m. This year’s judges hail from HEAL Veterinary Hospital, Hounds Town, K-9 Butcher and Lazy Sundaes.

More than 50 businesses will hand out candy to costumed kids from 4-7 p.m.. Look for the pumpkin sign at participating shops or pick up a map at the DUMBO Archway party. Events sponsored by the DUMBO BID.
