ITHACA, N.Y. – No. 9 Brown Women’s Crew heads to New York to take on Cornell on Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. The Bears have had success recently against Ivy League foes, defeating Columbia on April 12 and No. 23 Dartmouth on April 4.

In addition to defeating Columbia on April 12, the Bears also competed against the Boston University Terriers, sweeping all five races against both opponents.

At the Ivy Invitational on April 11, the V8 and 2V8 each defeated No. 8 Virginia and No. 12 Rutgers in their morning races, while the 2V8, A4, and B4 all won their afternoon races against No. 10 Syracuse.

Brown women’s crew hosted Cornell on the Seekonk River last season, winning all six races on the day, including a twenty-second victory in the Varsity Eight regatta. Since 2020, the Bears are 4-0 against the Big Red in dual races.

The first race is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
