Designers transform the interior, and often the garden, of a townhouse at the biennial fundraiser for the Brooklyn Heights Association.

by A bevvy of designers will be showing off some inspirational interiors with the return of the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse this fall. Co-chaired by Ellen Hamilton and Erika Belsey Worth, the event, whose proceeds benefit the Brooklyn Heights Association, will be unveiled at the end of September.
Launched in 2017, the showhouse has been held, with some pandemic delays, every other year since. In previous editions designers adorned the interiors of an 1860s brownstone, an 1820s wood frame, an 1830s townhouse, and an 1840s brick row house.

The identity of the dwelling chosen for the 2026 edition has not yet been revealed, but the results of the transformation will be shown off at an opening night party on September 30 before public hours begin on October 2 and run through November 1.
Tickets will go on sale later this summer and, as with previous showhouses, there will be special events and tours during the run of the design event. For the latest updates, visit the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse website.
