Michael Blake is challenging Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres in the Democratic primary this June.

He is vying to represent Congressional District 15, which covers a large part of the borough, including all or parts of Riverdale, Baychester and Morrisania.

Blake ran for mayor last year in the Democratic primary, has time in the state Assembly and has worked in the Obama administration. Those are all experiences, he says, will help him in the House of Representatives.

He joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to discuss his bid for Congress.

“We deserve better. Our district is being represented by someone who is actually not helping all of us,” Blake said.

“I’m running for Congress because we know I’ll actually represent the people, unlike Ritchie Torres,” he continued.
