NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos on Thursday of two males wanted for violently robbing of a 13-year-old boy using a metal pole in Queens last week.
It happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, near 153rd Street and 89th Avenue in Jamaica, officials said.
According to police, the boy was approached by the two males when one began punching and kicking him while the second struck him with a metal pole before stealing his backpack and sneakers.
The attackers fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the teen to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The first suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black backpack. The second was last seen wearing a black ski-mask, black sweatshirt, and gray and black sweatpants.
