MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A Manhattan credit union reported a loss of $25,000 when a pickup truck it had financed was sold before the original loan was paid off, officials said.
The theft was reported around 11:38 a.m. Wednesday at the K-State Credit Union at 2600 Anderson Ave.
Riley County police officers filed a report of theft of property or services in connection with the case.

K-State Credit Union was listed as the victim when it was reported a known 34-year-old man was given a loan for a 2017 Ford truck, then sold the vehicle without paying off the loan.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
