SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Alternative rock band Better Than Ezra is now officially on The Great New York State Fair concert lineup.

Better Than Ezra will be performing on Chevy Court stage on Friday, September 4 at 1 p.m.

The band, founded in New Orleans in 1988, became known for their combination of alternative rock and catchy melodies. They broke through in the mid-1990s with their hit “Good,” and has continued to release music and tour over the years, maintaining a dedicated fan base.

“We’re excited to welcome Better Than Ezra to the fairgrounds,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “As a fan of all-things 90s music, I’m pumped to jam along to these iconic hits and relive some great memories!”

The ‘Great New York State Fair‘ runs from August 26, through Labor Day, September 7. Concert tickets include admission to the fair. Tickets are $8 for adults, and admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.

The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series is expected to feature over 40 national recording acts. More acts will be announced over the coming months. Here’s what’s been announced so far:
