The MTA has announced that it will host a series of interactive workshops on the Interborough Express project — the proposed light rail between Brooklyn and Queens — in the coming months, as part of an environmental review process.
The workshops are being held in Brooklyn and Queens. Attendees can share feedback on station and train design, learn updates and participate in family-friendly activities.

When completed, the 14-mile light rail route would run from the Brooklyn Army Terminal to Roosevelt Avenue in Queens, with connections to subway routes, bus stops and the Long Island Rail Road

Thursday, May 7, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — P.S. 235K, East Flatbush, Brooklyn
Wednesday, May 13, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Maimonides Medical Center, Borough Park, Brooklyn
