Washington County, NY (WRGB) — A Fort Edward woman has been charged with a felony after investigators said she helped someone wanted by New York State Parole.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 36-year-old Sara Stout of Fort Edward, New York, following an investigation that determined she was “rendering assistance to a subject that was wanted by New York State Parole,” according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Stout was charged with hindering prosecution in the second degree, a class E felony.
She was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Fort Edward on May 12, 2026.
