LA County Library will welcome Julia Quinn, the bestselling author whose “Bridgerton” novels inspired the hit Netflix series, for a special Manhattan Beach Library Speaker Series event on Saturday, May 23, at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach. The program will feature a conversation with Dr. Skye Patrick, County Librarian and Director of LA County Library, from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a book signing from 3 to 4 p.m.

The event is part of the Manhattan Beach Library Speaker Series, which is co-hosted and generously supported by the City of Manhattan Beach. It will offer readers the chance to hear Quinn discuss her career, the enduring appeal of romance fiction, and the cultural impact of stories that continue to resonate with audiences on the page and on screen.
