The Las Vegas Raiders selected Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall selection on Thursday night, making the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner their presumed quarterback of the future.

The New York Giants, meanwhile, chose Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese with the No. 5 pick and Miami offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa with the No. 10 pick (acquired in the blockbuster trade that sent All-Pro nose tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals) on Day 1.
