The Doctor Odyssey star and the indie filmmaker, both 47, walked the carpet together before posing for photos arm-in-arm. The pair recently teamed up on Happy Hours — a trilogy written and directed by Holmes — but there’s more to the story than just playing Joey Potter and Pacey Witter on the beloved WB series: The stars dated for real in the ’90s, with the actress once alluding in a Rolling Stone cover story that Jackson was her “first love.”
