Amtrak says train service between Boston and New York is operating on a normal schedule after multiple trains were canceled on Friday night and Saturday. Debris from a highway ramp in Cranston, Rhode Island, fell onto the tracks, disrupting service.Two of three tracks through the affected area reopened on Saturday, and according to Amtrak, the third track is expected to be returned to service by Sunday morning.Rhode Island Department of Transportation officials said the on-ramp was due to be inspected six days after the incident. It is scheduled to be demolished and replaced.Sections of the electrification barrier for the Amtrak line were damaged in the collapse.
