Four people were wounded early Sunday in a shooting at a troubled Queens nightclub with a history of violence and murder.
Gunshots put a bloody end to the partying inside Amadeus nightclub on Albion Ave. near Queens Blvd. in Elmhurst about 3:40 a.m., police said.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the face and a second man, also 28 was grazed in the head, police said. Medics took both victims to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
Police soon learned of two more victims: a 25-year-old man who showed up at Elmhurst Hospital shot in the chest and arm and a 24-year-old man who arrived at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn shot in the right arm.
All four victims are expected to recover. No arrests have been made.
It’s not the first, or even the second time, police responded to a shooting at Amadeus — which boasts on social media, “Others Host Parties… We Create History” and “The Best Nights Aren’t Planned… They Happen.” The nightclub has featured appearances by rappers Busta Rhymes, Nas and Jadakiss.
On May 19, three people were shot and wounded outside Amadeus and on Jan. 21, 2023, a 19-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were shot after an argument spilled out of the club about 4 a.m., cops said. The man died of gunshot wounds to his back and shoulder.
