A shelter-in-place has been issued for an area of Brooklyn Park as law enforcement investigates.
Officials issued an emergency alert on Monday night, asking people to avoid the area of Brookdale Drive North and Xerxes Avenue North due to “police activity.”
A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer captured a large police response in the area.
A nearby resident told us that SWAT vehicles were on his street, and he could not return to his home.
