The NYPD says a three-man crew posing as construction workers pulled off a multi-million dollar jewelry heist out of a home in Queens earlier this month.
Surveillance video released by police shows the Oct. 16 robbery as two men on the crew walk up to the Briarwood home in the middle of the afternoon.
According to police, the men forced their way into the residence through a door in the back of the home. The home is located near 160th Street and 84th Drive.
Once inside, the men grabbed a safe and jewelry worth approximately $3.2 million.
The duo’s third man is seen on surveillance video backing into the driveway in a blue Hyundai Elentra. The rest of his crew hopes inside and the three “construction workers” drive off.
The crew was dressed in a black sweatshirt, black pants, a neon construction vest, white construction hat and wore eye protective wear.
Police said no one was home at the time of the robbery.
