Cops are looking for this suspect who was wearing a Scarface hoodie when he allegedly sucker-punched an 88-year-old man in Jamaica.

Police from the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica are looking for a suspect who wore a “Scarface” sweatshirt when he sucker punched an elderly man near Rufus King Park in broad daylight on Tuesday, April 21.
Police say the 88-year-old victim was walking on Jamaica Avenue near 148th Street at around 1:30 p.m. when a stranger approached him and punched him in the face with a closed fist causing the senior to fall to the sidewalk. The perpetrator ran away eastbound on Jamaica Avenue toward Rufus King Park a few blocks away.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect who is described as having a dark complexion who wore a black jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt depicting Al Pacino in “Scarface, “ripped gray jeans and red sneakers.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.

Through April 26, the 103rd Precinct has reported 229 felony assaults so far in 2026, 11 more than the 218 reported at the same point last year, an increase of 5%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
