Thousands of New York City residents will lose their emergency housing vouchers by the end of the year as funding for the federal program dries up four years earlier than expected.
State Sen. Brian Kavanagh, who represents parts of Lower Manhattan, and New Destiny Housing CEO Nicole Branca are asking for more funding for the state’s Housing Access Voucher Program to absorb federal voucher recipients.
They joined “Inside City Hall” to discuss housing vouchers.
