ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — From the United Kingdom to the Shenandoah area, King Charles and Queen Camilla could make an appearance at a Northern Virginia parade Thursday.

Front Royal, Virginia, officials, in a post on the town’s tourism website, shared that the King and Queen will attend the town’s parade celebrating America’s 250th.

The royals are also expected to visit a national park in Virginia and focus on environmental and local cultural events. It comes after Tuesday’s state dinner at the White House, and a visit to New York City scheduled for Wednesday.

Officials said the parade will be brief and is part of a larger block party in downtown Front Royal. All streets, officials said, will be impacted due to security.

“While there is no guarantee spectators will physically view the special guests, this is an historic opportunity to be a part of Their Majesties’ first visit to the United States as King & Queen!”

Charles and Camilla are in the United States for a four-day state visit in their first appearances as King and Queen.

Front Royal sits roughly 70 miles from D.C. and has roughly 15,000 residents.
