All Staten Island express bus routes are running with delays, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
As of 11:30 a.m., both directions of Staten Island express routes are running with delays because of traffic in lower Manhattan that was stopped by the NYPD, according to an MTA alert.
On X, the NYPD warned that there would be traffic tied to the royal visit to New York City.
“Expect delays and intermittent road closures throughout Manhattan,” the NYPD wrote. “If you’re [traveling], allow for extra time and use public transportation when possible.”
King Charles III and Queen Camilla will meet with Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday and are expected to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum together, the Daily News reports.
