One day after Foo Fighters rocked the Nutmeg State, the Foo Fighters announced they have two pop-up shows coming to the tri-state area.
Ticket sales will be in-person only for both venues starting on Thursday, April 30, at 10 a.m. They will cost $30 each and there will be a limit of two tickets per person.
The announcement comes one day after the band kicked off their “Take Cover” tour at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport with a nearly three-hour show. Tickets to the 10,000-capacity venue sold out soon after going on sale.
The setlist for the Tuesday show mixed songs from all eras of the Foo Fighters, including tunes off the band’s new album. “Spit Shine,” a song off their new album, made its live debut in Bridgeport while the band also brought out songs like “Your Favorite Toy,” “Unconditional” and “Child Actor.” The band also played its biggest songs, including “Monkey Wrench,” “My Hero,” “Learn to Fly” and “This Is a Call.”
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, the band is the recipient of 15 Grammy awards, 34 nominations and numerous other accolades. Foo Fighters’ new studio album, “Your Favorite Toy,” was released on April 24.
