New York state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli is the sole trustee of the state’s nearly $300 billion pension fund.
This makes him the third-largest investor in the country, as he oversees the retirement fund that affects more than a million New Yorkers.
Unlike some election years, he’s also facing several Democratic challengers in a June primary.
DiNapoli joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss why he wants to remain in office.
He’s held the position since 2007.
