Manhattan man arrested in connection with stalking, burglary

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A Manhattan man was arrested in connection with stalking and burglary on Thursday, April 30.

According to the Riley County Police Department, officers filed a report for two counts of stalking around 9:57 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29 in Manhattan.

A 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were listed as the victims. A known 39-year-old man was listed as the suspect.

As a result, Tracey Jerome Toliver, 39, of Manhattan, was arrested around 2:08 p.m. in the 100 block of South Seth Child Road in connection with two counts of stalking.

Toliver was issued a $30,000 bond in connection with that arrest.

Then, around 4:55 p.m., Toliver was arrested in connection with an attempted burglary and attempted criminal trespass stemming from an original report filed in July 2025.

On that arrest, he was issued an $8,000 bond.

Toliver has a total bond of $38,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
