MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police in Manhattan arrested two men after they reportedly threatened each other with weapons on Thursday.

The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) made the arrests shortly before 4:20 p.m. on April 30 in the 500 block of North Manhattan Avenue. Officers learned two men were involved in an incident that included one man presenting a knife while the other brandished a firearm.

The RCPD said a 23-year-old man claimed a 47-year-old man had pulled out a knife and brandished it. The 47-year-old, who was making a delivery for DoorDash, told police the 23-year-old had pointed a firearm in his direction.

Police arrested both men following the incident on charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Both men are listed as victims and suspects by the RCPD.
