STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— The L&P squad added another chapter to its storied legacy, capturing its sixth South Shore 50-and-over softball championship Tuesday night at Mount Loretto and marking an eighth consecutive finals appearance.
After winning the spring title, the 2025 fall season didn’t start with championship promise, however; manager Keith Lotito’s team lost five players before opening day, and seven more missed time during the season due to injuries and health concerns.
