MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A spokesperson for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Theodore Goodman, said Sunday that Giuliani is in the hospital in critical but stable condition.
The 81-year-old served as New York City’s mayor from 1994 to 2001.
It is unclear why Giuliani was hospitalized or what led to his condition.
Last August, Giuliani was seriously injured in New Hampshire after a car struck his SUV on Interstate 93 northbound in Manchester.

New Hampshire State Police said that minutes before the crash, Giuliani helped a woman who flagged down his vehicle and reported she had been involved in a domestic violence incident.
Giuliani suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured thoracic vertebra.
