1. Rudy Giuliani hospitalized in critical condition, his spokesman says

Rudy Giuliani, the ex-mayor of New York City and a former adviser to President Donald Trump, is in critical but stable condition at a hospital, his spokesman said Sunday.

Giuliani was hospitalized in September after suffering a fractured vertebra and other injuries in a car crash in New Hampshire.

2. United jet landing at Newark hits light pole, damages truck on NJ Turnpike

A United Airlines passenger jet carrying 221 passengers from Venice, Italy, struck a light pole on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday afternoon as it was coming in for a landing at Newark Liberty International Airport, authorities said.

The airline said none of the passengers or 10 crew members aboard United Airlines Flight 169 were injured.

3. Mamdani joins cyclists for 40-mile Five Boro Bike Tour across NYC

Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined tens of thousands of cyclists Sunday for the annual TD Five Boro Bike Tour, riding alongside participants across all five boroughs in what he said was a historic first for a city mayor.

Organizers said the ride was the world’s largest charitable bike ride, with proceeds supporting free bike education programs run by Bike New York.
