The Black Queen have announced that Chris Pennie will be joining them on drums for their upcoming touring.The synthwave outfit revealed today, Monday, May 04th, that Pennie has been tapped for their “Fever Daydream” 10th anniversary run.
Pennie is best known for his decade-long stint behind the kit in The Dillinger Escape Plan from 1997–2007.
The band shared the following statement via social media:
Some of you will understand the significance of this. Please explain it to those who don’t. He’s been with us behind the scenes for a while, but starting in Boston, with the exception of Montreal and Toronto, and for all shows going forward after that, we will have a new member onstage with us. His name is Chris Pennie. Yes he will be playing drums.
