ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A Manhattan man was arrested on felony drug possession charges after a narcotics investigation in Albany.

On Tuesday, May 5, at about 3:46 p.m., members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort (SCOPE) Unit conducted the investigation near Central Avenue after several community complaints.

The Sheriff’s Office said 34-year-old Hakeem A. Bradley was found with 24 individual packages containing crack cocaine weighing about 20.5 grams. Authorities said the drugs were packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.

Bradley was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as tampering with physical evidence, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Bradley was scheduled to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on May 6.
