WESTMORELAND, N.Y. — The owners of Minar Fine Indian Cuisine are adding a new business to their portfolio.
Raj Kumar and his wife, Babita Rani, opened WM Liquor in Westmoreland, celebrated with a ribbon cutting Tuesday evening.
Kumar and Rani own restaurants in New Hartford, Hamilton and Syracuse.
One night, they noticed that there were no liquor stores within seven miles of Westmoreland.
Consequently, they worked with the town to open up the business at 7303 East Main St.
They said they have been working hard to keep the shelves stocked.
