MIDTOWN MANHATTAN (PIX11) — Police have apprehended a teenager in connection with a deadly stabbing that happened in Midtown Manhattan on May 4.

The incident happened around 11:32 p.m. in front of 132 West 43rd Street.

Police say 39-year-old Leonides Baez of Worcester, Massachusetts, was found with stab wounds to the torso and back. Baez also suffered a slash wound to the face.

EMS transported Baez to a local hospital, where he died.

The 17-year-old suspect was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

No other information was provided.
