BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — THE BROOKLYN BAR Association’s annual meeting and awards ceremony will be held the evening of May 13 at its historic headquarters located at 123 Remsen St.
At the event, the organization will officially announce its new officers and trustees. The proposed slate of candidates, the Brooklyn Eagle has learned, are as follows:
Executive board officers: Daniel R. Antonelli as president; Angelicque M. Moreno as president-elect; Bruno F. Codispoti as first vice president; Grace M. Borrino as second vice president; Pauline Yeung-Ha as secretary; and Doron Leiby as treasurer. Officers will serve from June 2026 through June 2027.
“Class of 2029” Trustees: Imran H. Ansari, Esq.; Ronald Cosme, Jr., Esq.; Frank Francis, Esq.; Christina Fratangelo, Esq.; Regina Kiperman, Esq.; and Joseph Vasile, Esq. Trustees will serve from June 2026 through June 2029.
The BBA’s purpose is to promote professional competence among attorneys and increase respect for the legal system. It also works to ensure all Brooklyn residents have equal access to the criminal and civil justice systems. The association’s mission is further supported by its Access to Justice Task Force, and other initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion and equity.
