CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — On Saturday, students walked across the stage at Queens University in Charlotte for what would likely be the last graduation before the university merges with Elon.
The ceremony was held at 10 a.m. in the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation on the university’s campus.
This year, 495 people, including 304 undergrads and 191 graduate students, proudly received their diplomas.
This year’s keynote speaker was Shelly Cayette-Weston, who serves as president of business operations for Hornets Sports & Entertainment.
