On this week’s “In Focus,” Yogiando NYC founder Rosana Rodriguez shares her journey of surviving domestic violence through yoga.

She said that after fleeing an abusive home in 2000; she faced legal battles and was diagnosed with PTSD. Rodriguez discusses how yoga eased her physical symptoms and emotional pain.

She said her new program, “From Surviving to Thriving,” which uses slow, passive yoga to help other survivors regain control and move from a fight-or-flight response to rest and digest.
