Two people are dead after a shooting Sunday night in New Jersey, sources said.
Councilman Alex Mendez said multiple people were shot before 9 p.m.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said Paterson police are investigating the incident that happened at Rosa Parks and Godwin Avenue.
“This city is not safe at all. It’s unacceptable,” Mendez said. “Every other week, we’re getting a shooting.”
Video from the scene showed a large law enforcement presence in the area.
