Last week, the maps drawn to help Democratic congressional efforts in the commonwealth of Virginia were struck down by the state’s top court, leaving Democrats scrambling as they lose ground in the seemingly never-ending redistricting saga.
In response, Democrats began floating the idea of lowering the mandatory retirement age for judges on the Virginia Supreme Court in an effort to change the partisan makeup.
