This Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting, there will be a Kite Festival at Pier 5, the soccer field pier near the foot of Joralemon Street, Brooklyn Bridge Park. You may bring your own kite or buy a complete one or a kit to make one on site. There will also be “hands-on crafts, classic lawn games, live music, face painting” and other activities.
