Four people were arrested after protesters and counter-protesters clashed near a Brooklyn synagogue on Monday, May 11.
Footage by Gerard Dalbon shows some of the chaos that unfolded as pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protesters faced off near Young Israel of Midwood, an orthodox synagogue on Ocean Avenue.
A spokesperson for pro-Palestine organization PAL-Awda NY said the group was demonstrating against the “Great Israeli Real Estate Event” being held there.

The spokesperson said the event was advertising properties for sale in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, in a “grave violation of international law.”
