Fayetteville-Manlius High School will participate in New York’s universal free school meals program, according to the district.
Officials discussed the changes with the school board on Monday. The district hopes to make that change for the upcoming school year.
The rest of the schools in the district already participate in the program, which entitles each student to a free breakfast and lunch each day.
The district said they had held off on bringing the program to the high school, but the students were vocal in bringing about the change.
