NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — The City University of New York will host its annual citizenship drive on Saturday.
Staff and volunteers will provide free, confidential services to more than 300 participants from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, located at 524 West 59th Street.
Volunteers will help attendees complete applications, screen for fee‑waiver eligibility and finalize submissions to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The event is held in partnership with Citizenship Now, which has helped more than 240,000 immigrants access benefits including citizenship, green cards, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Event organizers said attendance is free and open to the public, and no reservation is required.
