A person was found unconscious by police officers who were responding to a report of an assault early on Thursday morning, according to the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
When officers arrived at around 1:10 a.m. to an area near 63rd Avenue North, they learned that one of the suspects tried to stab a second person.
A large police presence responded with K-9’s and a Maple Grove drone operator but the suspects were not found.
Police say that the suspects ran from the area before officers arrived on scene.
Investigators did not provide an update on the victim’s condition.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
