STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Department of Transportation will conduct roadway repair and maintenance work throughout Staten Island during the week of May 18, according to the agency’s Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division.
A contract milling crew will perform nighttime work within Community Board 3, while an in-house paving crew will work during daytime hours in the same area. Maintenance crews will operate throughout the day and night across multiple Community Boards.
The work aims to maintain safe and efficient roadways, but may result in temporary detours and street closures in affected areas, the DOT stated.
