SUNSET PARK – THE NEW YORK CITY Economic Development Corporation on Thursday announced the addition of five tenants at the Brooklyn Army Terminal and MADE Bush Terminal on the Sunset Park waterfront. The new additions bring BAT to almost 90% leased and MADE to around 40%, according to The Real Deal.
At BAT, NYCEDC finalized new leases with four companies, including Audible Difference, an event audiovisual design firm; EcoLogic Solutions, a manufacturer of green cleaning and maintenance products; Otto Nemenz International, a high-end camera and lens rental company; and GoLocker, which hosts a network of smart lockers to send and receive packages. Together, these tenants leased over 58,000 square feet.
Nearby at the MADE Bush Terminal manufacturing hub, on-demand 3D printing service Makelab signed a five‑year lease for 3,840 square feet.
Built during World War I and later used as a base for the U.S. Army, the BAT has been modernized by NYCEDC over the last four decades into an economic asset, the public benefit corporation said in a statement, with the new tenants representing the tech-forward future of the campus.
