TOPEKA (KSNT) — Police report a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash sent one person to the hospital Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.
The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) responded to an injury crash around 12:25 p.m. on May 17 in the 400 block of Zeandale Road near Manhattan. Officers said a 72-year-old driver of a 2022 Toyota Venza had crashed into a 21-year-old rider on a Yamaha bolt motorcycle.
The RCPD said medical personnel took the motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury.
